Elmina Castle (1)

Elmina is one of two of the most important slave castles in Ghana. There are more than 60 castles along the coast, used by the Europeans to trade gold and slaves. But only Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle are in adequate shape to serve as proper tourist destinations.
